As a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, Physics Unlimited would like to help high school math and physics educators in the U.S. (or people they personally know, among their colleagues, students, family, or friends) who have been adversely affected in any way by events of the past few months.
We plan to do so by providing direct financial assistance (relief funding) in the form of mini-grants.
We have resources to award at least four grants of at least $200 each in the month of June.
In order to do so in a fair way, we will be using responses to a very brief (anonymous-optional) Nomination Form linked below, and based on the responses our selection committee will reach out to the nominees to determine whom to award the grants.
We encourage everyone to nominate their teacher(s). Educators may nominate themselves or others.
Deadline has been extended through June 20. It takes no more than one minute to fill out the Nomination Form:
For nominations to be considered, they should be submitted by June 20
. We aim to email the nominees after that day and make decisions shortly before the end of June. Thank you in advance, and please stay healthy and safe!
